LEARNING WITH RESPECT AND RESPONSABILITY

The core values for 2008-09 are:

Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Courage, Compassion, Honesty, Loyalty, Hope, Justice, Wisdom …



An EMT student will:

- Respect the rights and the property of others.
- Take responsibility for his/her actions.
- Behave in a thoughtful and caring manner.
- Demonstrate honesty in all situations.



RULES AND REGULATIONS:


Attend school daily; arrive on time and present notes to explain absences.





Arrive to school prepared to learn.







Respect all students and all adults in the school community.


Keep the school property free from damage and harm and respect the property of the others



Keep the school clean and your own area clean.



Eat and play only in designated areas. Sweets, soda and “junk food” may not be brought to school.



No fighting, cursing, bullying or threaten behaviours to the others.



Leave personal items at home! Beepers, CD players, PSPs, Ipods, trading cards, games, weapons, laser pens, …….. are not permitted at school.



Mobile phones are to be turned off during school hours. Students are allowed to use mobiles phones before and after school only. These items will be confiscated and returned to parents only.




Walk quietly and in an orderly manner throughout the school area.

Wear appropriate school attire as determined by the dress code.


Follow the classroom, playground, lunch and safety rules.



No scooters, skateboards, wheelies, skates, bikes or motorized equipment permitted all over the school.
